First Birthday Folk Day
May 2012 will be the first birthday for The Poppy Folk Club, so to celebrate in style we are planning our first Folk Day on Sunday 20th May. Tickets for the whole day are only £18 which includes two afternoon concerts and an evening concert. See below for prices and details for the individual concerts.
Evening Concert.
7:30pm, Tickets £10.
Belshazzar's Feast.
Belshazzar's Feast are Paul Sartin (oboe, violin and vocals) and Paul Hutchinson (accordion). They were nominated for best duo in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards in 2010.

Also on this same weekend is the Lady Bay Arts Festival so there will also be a chance to take a look at some work from a number of local artists, both in the pub, and at various other nearby venues.
On the Saturday the folk club in conjunction with local artist Rod Bailey will be presenting our own arts installation in the form of a Human Juke Box.
